InsulationStop.com's Ordering Information for our Customers

At Insulationstop.com we offer the industries largest range of products. Most of these products also have slight differences. We have identified these differences as you view our product catalog.

Please take note of the following terms:

SQUARE EDGE, Staple Tab & QUICKSEAM

SQUARE EDGE:
When a product is designated as Square Edge, the product is cut clean on both sides, not leaving a tab or seam of extra material to adhere the product. Although every application is different, these products are generally better suited for ground or floor applications where the product can be adhered through the face and the seam created is taped.

Staple Tab:
When a product is designated as Staple Tab, this product has an extra amount of material allowing you to adhere the product using the tabs. This is the same concept with tabbed fiberglass insulation for walls, joists, etc. Please note: The tabs consist of just enough material to staple to and are not meant to fold out similar to fiberglass kraft products. The bubble layers on staple tab products are recessed allowing the foil layers to run longer to staple into. Please inquire within for more information. Although every application is different, these products are generally better suited for wall or joist spaces where the product can be adhered through the tabs into a stud or joist and the seam created is taped.

QUICK SEAM:
When a product is designated as Quick Seam, the product has an extra amount of material with an adhesive strip allowing you to adhere the product using the adhesive strip. Although every application is different, these products are very effective in all applications due to the adhesive strip allowing you to adhere the product easier. The product still has the extra material allowing you to adhere using mechanical fasteners as well. We recommend the seam created still be taped.

SINGLE, DOUBLE BUBBLE, POLY & REFLECTIVE

SINGLE BUBBLE:
When a product is designated as Single Bubble, the product has one layer of bubbles. These products are normally less expensive than a double bubble product. However, there is less natural airspace in the product. All of the reflective properties of reflective aluminum foil insulation are the same as a double bubble product. Please review your application for the product right for you.

DOUBLE BUBBLE:
When a product is designated as Double Bubble, the product has two layers of bubbles. These products offer the greatest amount of built in airspace.

POLY:
When a product is designated as Poly, one side of the products material is white. The other side is reflective aluminum foil.

REFLECTIVE:
When a product is designated as designated as Reflective, one or both sides of the product is reflective aluminum foil
