rFoil 72" x 125' Concrete Underpad Insulation

Insulating where there is contact with the ground is always tough on insulation. The ground is an infinite heat sink and will constantly pull heat from your living space. Traditional insulation like fiberglass is largely ineffective in below ground applications. The higher the moisture, the worse fiberglass performs. 

rFoil™ Concrete Underpad, clear / double bubble / foil is a reflective under slab insulation product that is designed specifically for these applications. Its effectiveness is impervious to moisture gain and its double bubble design provides an effective thermal break.  The foil side of the product also has a protective coating to protect the surface. The design of the product makes it ideal for use in radiant heat floor systems, wrapping foundation walls, and many other concrete insulation projects. Not only is rFoil™ Concrete Underpad a radiant barrier, but it's also a vapor barrier giving you two products in one. Its insulation properties are unaffected by moisture and humidity.

rFoil™ Concrete Underpad's design consists of a double layer of polyethylene bubbles, sandwiched between a metalized reflective aluminum sheet and a clear polyethylene surface.  It is ideal for many under slab insulation applications.  It is our standard under concrete foil insulation product.  The aluminum surface is treated with a coating to protect it from curing concrete.
