Product Description
There are two different types of heat at work in your attic, conductive and radiant. Fiberglass insulation and similar products address conductive heat. That’s why bigger or thicker is generally better. To stop radiant heat however, the only insulation that works is a radiant barrier. Our radiant barrier designed for attics is a perforated sheet comprised of woven polyethylene bonded to and in between two highly reflective foil aluminum sheets. Attic radiant barriers help to reduce energy costs in both the summer and the winter. Coupled with energy savings, installing an attic radiant barrier can greatly improve the temperature differences between your living space and attic, greatly increasing your level of comfort in your home.
