InfraStop™ Radiant Barrier is constructed with an inner layer of woven polyethylene for outstanding tear strength and puncture resistance. This woven design allows for a permanent bond of the foil layers as well as a firm holding power when stapled. InfraStop™ reduces radiant heat gain and loss by redirecting radiant heat energy back to the living area or outside. InfraStop™ saves energy usage and lowers heating costs all while extending the life of heating and coolng systems. InfraStop™ can lower attic temperatures by up to 40°F. It also improves the effectiveness of fiber/mass insulation types and helps attic floor insulation retain heat. rFoil InfraStop™ is lightweight and flexible allowing for easy installations. InfraStop™ weights only 15 lbs per 500 square feet allowing anyone to easily unroll, cut, and install.
